This purple and copper weaving is simple and soothing. There is a beautiful balance between the complementing colors, the positive and negative space, the tight weaving and the open warp.
The warp is made of a viscose thread with a mix of purple, green and blue plus copper metallic. It's cold, soft and heavy to the touch. The woven section, resembling of a mountainous landscape at dusk, is made with the same yarn plus some purple wool yarn.
The fringe has some added copper threads that add a rich, shimmery texture and extra movement. I recommend placing this one in a breezy spot to take advantage of it - see the video!
The weaving itself measures 22x22 inches, while the copper tube is 24" long. It has two loops on either end for easy hanging.
Materials: viscose and wool yarn, metallic thread, copper.
Please inquiry if you are interested in having something similar. I love custom work!
