Sol Proaño’s goal is to have a business that is as environmentally and socially responsible as possible. A few low impact practices which are already in place include sustainably sourced metals, as well as low-waste practices in the studio. All the pieces are handmade in New York City.

ECO-FRIENDLY PACKAGING

• Online orders are mindfully packaged using eco-friendly materials.
• Minimal packaging that can be either reused or recycled.
• The glassine bags can be composted, or simply recycled.
• The boxes, packaging tape and some of the paper filler used are made from recycled paper materials.
• The stickers are printed with soy-based ink and they are also recyclable.
• Plastic air bags are sometimes reused from supply shipment packaging.
